Martin:
Todd has switched from triathlon
to off road racing this year to prepare for the Trans Rockies
Challenge in BC this August 7 - 13. Todd and Bill Benson came
in 7th place in their
category in the Trans Rockies Challenge! This is Todds first
year of MTB racing making such a high placing in the worlds
toughest mountain bike race a stunning achievement.

World Maccabiah games in Israel. Was the only medalist from
north America. Aaron had surgery on his shoulder 8 months
prior to this competition then worked with Cris LaBossiere
twice per week to bring him back to competitive form. November
26-27 Silver Medal Senior

comments on his season this year:
Last
year was my first year back at serious competition in over
10 years and it went really well.
This year was shaping up to be even better fitness wise, but
that isn't the way it turned out! I went down in a serious
bike race crash in the spring that left me with an injured
back knocking me out of hard training and racing for over
a month. While I placed 2nd in my first race back (MTB race),
I flatted in my first return to road racing. I flatted again
in the MB provincial time trial championships, then suffered
a monstrosity of a hamstring cramp in the provincial road
race. Overall a good season despite the crash and untimely
flats + cramps. Winter training is going well and I look forward
to the 2006 season.
